Our plan of action, as funds become available, is as follows:
1. Urgent book project: En defensa de la vida humana prenatal en México (In Defense of Human Prenatal Life in Mexico).
Utilizing the talents of Alejandro Moreno, a former student of past and current Mexican Supreme Court justices, we will write, publish, and distribute a book, in Spanish, presenting strong jurisprudential reasons why legal abortion is unconstitutional according to the Mexican legal system. Printed copies will be delivered by the author to the Supreme Courts justices under whom he studied, and to numerous other legal scholars, legislators, public opinion influencers, and others, as well as made available to the general public.
It is to be stressed that no comparable materials exist. While much quality work has been published in English targeting Anglo-American culture, practically nothing exists in Spanish targeting Latin American culture.
This shortage of solid evangelical resources in Spanish may partly account for why evangelicals were scarcely to be heard during the short period of debate before the law legalizing abortion in Mexico City was passed.
2. Spanish-language web site.
We have developed and will continue to expand a Spanish-language web site where we will publish an online edition of the book, as well as other evangelical resources (articles, videos, etc.) in Spanish in support of the cause of life. We will seek to develop and make available original Spanish materials by evangelicals, as well as publish online editions of translated works that exist but are out of print.
3. TV interviews, radio broadcasts, etc.
We will pursue strategic opportunities to present a message of life to the general public, using the means that the Lord makes available.
4. Publicity campagin.
We will purchase billboards, radio spots, and other effective forms of publicity, to prick consciences, promote the Spanish resources, and move public opinion.
